I’m devastated and terrified. So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this, I wanted to dedicate this next blog to the five members of the Supreme Court who have shown us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a shit about freedom or a woman’s right to make decisions over her own body – a basic human right. The decision will also harm those experiencing pregnancy complications and pregnancy loss.

The ruling was not grounded in any kind of reasoned debate or philosophical perspective, making the Supreme Court the “Fox News of justice. “Anti-democratic” is often in the eye of the beholder, a term used to label any outcome a critic happens to disagree with. But in political science, one important component of democracy is a measurable number: How many Americans are living under policies they believe in?
