Humor can relieve stress

Humor can relieve stress, especially when used in the right circumstances.

Abraham is sitting at the bar, just looking at his drink, when a muscular, obnoxious biker next to him grabs it, gulps it down, and says, “Thanks, whatcha going to do about it?” Abraham becomes completely stressed out and bursts into tears.

“Come on, man,” the biker says. “I didn’t think you’d cry. What’s your problem?”

“This is the worst day I’ve ever had,” Abraham says. “I’m a total failure. My boss fired me, my car was T-boned, and my insurance had expired. I lost my wallet in the cab I took home. I found my wife in bed with the gardener. I came to this bar to end it all. I buy a drink, drop a capsule in, and sit here watching the poison dissolve. Then you show up and drink it all.

But enough about me. How’s your day going?”
