The most significant attributes a person can develop for success in life are adaptability and the ability to embrace change. Examine the last few years of your life. How much has changed? How many things in your life have you altered? How much have you progressed? Most of us are arrogant and stubborn in our self-image and interpretation of our lives. We are comfortable with what we have developed and our progress, and we cannot accept a quantum leap forward because it first requires unlearning a behavior and then substituting it with an unfamiliar action to achieve meaningful progress. No one can learn for you, just as no one can eat your food for you. You will make no progress without a willingness to assume responsibility.
If we always do what we have done, even though it is easier, we will always get the same results.
