When you wake up in bed, practice deep breathing. This means breathing in deeply, holding your breath, and letting it out slowly.

Drink a full glass of water before you have your coffee or tea.

If you’re lifting weights to gain strength and muscle, as you should, add a half-teaspoon of ground Chia seeds and collagen to your coffee, with a dash of turmeric.

Get about 10 minutes of bright light. Of course, direct sunlight is best.

This can be done while balancing on one foot, then the other, to improve your balance.

Have breakfast with some protein. Meat is more easily digested in the morning.
